  1. Eeee! After all the time I spent singing the kookaburra song at Girl Scout camp as a youngster, I have never before laid eyes on one! They are absolutely stunning:)

    1. The Blue-Winged Kookaburra, which is what this fellow is, is particularly stunning. The more common brown ones that we see along the East coast are not quite so spectacular looking but they are still pretty cool.
