I would hope this has something to do with a lisp, because lisps are cute, and I always wanted very much to have one. But I suppose I am not a kindred spirit this time around, as I don't know the question.
Sure is! Like I said, very obscure reference (although I did think the kindred spirits comment would put you on the Anne track). I still remember at the time thinking it was the best ending to a book ever ... and being really sad that there were no more books to follow.
Me too. I periodically go back and re-read my favorite Anne books. I'm partial to Anne of the Island and Anne of Windy Poplars. Not to fret, 'kindred spirits' will always lead me to Anne first:)
I've just this week started at the start again ... and I may or may not have spent 10+ hours yesterday lying on the couch sick watching all of the movies (yes, even the stinky continuing story that should not exist and won't be spoken of again).

ReplyDeleteNot a worry, it was a very obscure reference, even for Anne fans.
DeleteYes, it does involve a lisp ...
Ah okay! That's Rilla, right?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about real-world applications, forgot about sweet ol' Anne stories:)

DeleteMegan Follows? I hope?
ReplyDeleteI adore her as Anne.
I also enjoy her in current Canadian 'horse-girl' drama Heartland.
There are others?! No-one else could possibly be Anne, could they?
DeleteOff to look up Heartland ...
