Zonked!

One day I will get my brain back and start doing Travelday and other proper posts again, I'm sure. In the meantime I will continue to serve up random ramblings and pet photos ...

Please tell me I'm not the only one whose animals fall asleep so strangely ... I have dozens of photos of Astro and Samson in particular sleeping oddly. Nutmeg on the other hand simply seems to like sleeping on Samson a lot.

  1. Hehe. My cat is pretty normal, but she's started sleeping while sticking one paw nearly vertical. Cuuuuuuuuute.

    1. Astro has actually been a very stereotypical cat with his sleeping the last few months, all curled up in a neat little ball and the like. I'm not sure if it's because he's now 'all grown up' or because he's been so sick. Some of the photos I have of him as a kitten though are just strange - the flat on the back thing in particular is quite bemusing, but still awfully cute!

  2. I love you cat photos! My cat sleeps in normal positions most of the time but sometimes in unusual places.

    1. Cheers! I wonder sometimes if I'm overdoing it with the pet photos so it's nice to know they're enjoyed ... there's plenty more that's for sure :) We seem to have scored a cat that manages both unusual poses and places - sometimes both at once as shown here!

    1. Aw thank you. I'm still really no sure how he got himself there in the first place!

  4. There are no words for how envious I am of animals' ability to sleep. It taunts me during my insomniac nights.

    1. I know what you mean. It's been a few years now since insomnia has been a problem for me but restless sleeplessness has crept back in over the past few months and it's no fun.
