Last Night ...

... I had trouble capturing this well ...

... partly because it was too dark ...

... and partly because I was trying to use my phone ...

... also, Nutmeg kept moving ...

... and then once Samson had curled himself up comfortable like ...

... I could only get two faces and a butt ...

... or a squishy face and not much else ...

... plus there's lots of furniture in the way of getting the right angle ...

... still, I had to try 'coz it was awesomely cute.

    1. I really wish I could have taken better quality ones but as soon as I pull the camera out they're all curiosity and all I get are nose close ups! The cat goes through stages but now that he's started recovering from his illness he's all smoochy again.

    1. I must say mine melted when Samson (the big black dog) lay down next to Astro (the cat) last night, normally he just looks at us hurt and then wanders down to lie on the carpet in one of the bedrooms instead.

    1. Thank you. We were very lucky to get three great personalities with them as well which is nice. I have to say, having had a third dog stay with us over Christmas, I am quite content with two - the dynamics just change so much, particularly when you have to walk them on your own (maybe one day when I own the dream farm and can let them exercise off lead within our fence line ...).

  4. How gorgeous. How lovely that they love to be together like that. They look like very special friends that take good care of each other xx

    1. It's funny, during the day they can take or leave each others' company and sleep all over the place but when it comes to night time sleeping Astro is back to snuggling up with them more and more (he used to as a kitten but then seemed to grow out of it).

  5. Teehee, aww. What a cute cat face:) I like in 4 how your cat's all "whatever, pups. i'm facing the other way... cause i'm a cat."

    1. As opposed to last night where he sat staring at the bed for ages and then did a lap around it looking for a spot where he'd fit ... there wasn't one so he squatted down next to it instead - no cat-like indifference in sight!
