Goodness, you're getting a lot of variety in this new job! Sounds great :) Our two darlings are at that weird but nice in between stage at the moment where they're still bonkers like puppies but cuddle in like old dogs ... would it be weird to stalk a dog park to make friends with dog people ? ;)Kerenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06469263318400388815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2838819563751190109.post-47359486227006606372013-02-02T04:22:54.407+11:002013-02-02T04:22:54.407+11:00Oh, I do miss such visions of nature! Even though only a very short part of it was spent away, just sticking around my little corner of suburbia was much nicer than lugging into the city every day.

I have to be honest, the only reason I even pulled out the phone to take those three shots was because I knew you'd like them ... I was relaxed almost to the point of floppy and blogging was far from my mind. That particular bird is a rainbow lorikeet, one of the 50+ species that dad has spotted from their verandah!Kerenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06469263318400388815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2838819563751190109.post-62853033690898962232013-01-25T13:00:05.106+11:002013-01-25T13:00:05.106+11:00A four week break! They watched us pack the night before and there was no way known we were going to be allowed to leave them behind, they jumped in about three times before we were actually ready to go :)Kerenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06469263318400388815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2838819563751190109.post-10810394730010036142013-01-25T11:52:45.725+11:002013-01-25T11:52:45.725+11:00Love that first photo! :-)
